BMWのフラッグシップ「7シリーズ」、電動化による劇的なモデルチェンジの全貌
BMWがフラッグシップモデルである「7シリーズ」の新型を発表した。第7世代目にして電気自動車（EV）となった「i7」のほか、エンジンと小型モーターを組み合わせたマイルドハイブリッドモデルとプラグインハイブリッドモデルも用意される。

EVとなった「i7 xDrive60」は、最高出力が400kW（544hp）・745Nmのモーターを搭載。満充電時の航続可能距離は590～625km（WLTPモード）という。最上級モデル「 i7 M70 xDrive」など、その他のグレードはあとから追加される予定だ。
これに対してハイブリッドモデルは、直列6気筒またはV型8気筒エンジンを搭載する。プラグインハイブリッドモデルは、2023年初頭から投入される見通しだ。
デザインの面では上下2段に分かれたLEDライトが目を引くほか、BMW伝統の“キドニーグリル”が巨大化している。その劇的な変化を写真で紹介しよう。
