ペルシャ湾 商船三井のコンテナ船損傷 金子国土交通大臣“状況を深く懸念”
アメリカなどとイランの攻撃の応酬が続く中、ペルシャ湾内に停泊していた商船三井のコンテナ船が損傷を受けたことについて、金子国土交通大臣は13日の閣議のあとの会見で「状況を深く懸念している」と述べ、今後の対応に万全を期す考えを示しました。
今月11日未明、ペルシャ湾内に停泊していた商船三井が所有するコンテナ船「ONE MAJESTY」が、船の後部に2か所の穴があく損傷を受けました。
これについて金子国土交通大臣は13日の閣議のあとの会見で、損傷の原因を調査しているとした上で、「船舶が損傷を受ける事案が発生している状況を深く懸念している」と述べました。
国土交通省によりますと、ペルシャ湾内には現在も日本関係の船舶45隻と日本人の船員24人がとどまっていますが、日本時間の13日午前7時の時点で新たな被害の情報は入っていないということです。
金子大臣は「日本船主協会から関係国への働きかけなど船舶の安全確保に向けた措置を講ずるよう要請を受けている。関係省庁とも連携の上、対応に万全を期していく」と述べました。
