“性の多様性 理解を” 性的マイノリティーの人たちが呼びかけ
LGBTQなど性的マイノリティーの人たちが差別や偏見のない社会を目指して性の多様性への理解を呼びかけるイベントが、東京都内で開かれました。
東京 渋谷区の代々木公園で開かれた「プライドフェスティバル」は、性的マイノリティーの人たちの権利向上などを呼びかける6月の「プライド月間」にあわせて、東京のNPO法人が開きました。
会場では大学や企業、当事者団体などおよそ180の団体がブースを出して、活動や取り組みを紹介しました。
このうち京都の龍谷大学のブースでは、学生たちが、訪れた人に性的マイノリティーをめぐる現状について「期待」「不安」「怒り」のうちどの感情にあたるか選んでシールをはってもらったり、メッセージを書き込んでもらったりして、それぞれの思いや考えを聞き取っていました。
会場に設けられたステージでは、男女ペアで踊るのが一般的な社交ダンスを女性どうしで楽しむダンスサークルなど、出演した人たちが踊りや歌で性の多様性を表現していました。
参加した1人は「LGBTQについてセンシティブなイメージがありましたが、このイベントを通じて楽しみながら学ぶことができました」と話していました。
このイベントは8日も開かれ、正午からは当事者や支援者などが参加するパレードも行われます。
