津田沼駅南口の「モリシア津田沼」、2028年秋に営業再開

JR津田沼駅南口で閉館中の商業施設「Morisia(モリシア)津田沼」が2028年秋頃から営業再開する。再開発を担ってきた野村不動産が習志野市に伝達したもので、10年程度の営業を見込んでいる。 モリシア津田沼については、同施設内にある習志野文化ホールも含め、建設後約45年が経過し、老朽化や陳腐化が進んでいたことから、野村不動産が主導し、劇場、商業、住宅、業務等からなる地下2階・地上52階の複合施設へと再開発する都市計画が決定していた。しかしその後、「想定していたスケジュールに沿った事業推進が困難な状況」と野村不動産が習志野市に伝達し、協議の結果、2025年5月に再開発の一時中断を発表していた。 今回野村不動産は、モリシア津田沼の営業を部分的に再開することを決定。2028年秋から概ね10年程度の営業を見込む、再開は低層部分の地下1階から地上2階、地下2階駐車場と立体駐車場に限定し、レストラン棟とオフィス棟は対象外とする。また、習志野文化ホールが再開した際には、同ホールの導線として、オフィス等のエレベーターとオフィス棟4階エレベーターホールの開放を予定している。 今後、営業再開に向けて改修工事に着手し、28年秋の再開を目指す。なお、立体駐車場は26年中の再開を予定している。 野村不動産は、「再開発事業を取りやめる意思は無く、事業再開の見通しが立った際には、改めて事業認可に向けた各種手続きを再開する」としている。
