国立公園制度100年の2031年へ環境省 訪日外国人利用およそ1.4倍に増やす方針
国立公園の制度が始まって2031年で100年になるのに向けて、環境省は今後5年間で園内の廃屋撤去などで景観を改善し、ブランド力向上を図ることで訪日外国人の利用者数をおよそ1.4倍に増やす方針を示しました。
国立公園は1931年に制度が始まり、最初に瀬戸内海と雲仙、それに霧島が指定されて以降、現在全国で35か所が指定されています。
制度創設100年に向けて環境省はことしを含む5年間で、公園内の廃屋の撤去などを進め景観の改善に取り組むほか、民間と連携してツアーなどを開発し、国立公園のブランド力向上と国内外への宣伝を強化する方針をまとめました。
