新宿ミロード、3月16日閉館 取り壊して再開発へ
新宿ミロードが3月16日をもって閉館し、40年の歴史に幕を下ろすこととなります。閉館を間近に控え、3月10日から「おしまいのFINAL 7DAYS」としてセールやイベントなどを実施します。

新宿ミロードは1984年に開業した、小田急SCディベロップメントが運営する新宿駅直結の商業施設です。2024年には開業40周年を迎えましたが、新宿駅西口一帯の開発計画に伴い、閉館することとなりました。新宿駅周辺では2月28日に新宿アルタが営業終了しており、エリアを代表する2つの施設が同時期になくなることになります。
跡地で進められるプロジェクトは小田急電鉄、東京メトロ、東急不動産による「新宿駅西口地区開発計画」で、小田急百貨店本館跡地を含めたエリアに新たな複合施設が建設されます。
新宿ミロードがあった場所は、小田急電鉄の単独事業として進められる予定で、小田急SCディベロップメントは同地区の管理運営の受託に向けて、小田急電鉄と構想に関する協議・検討を進めています。なお、小田急百貨店本館跡地ではすでに工事が進められています。
小田急SCディベロップメントは、新宿ミロードからの最後のメッセージ「卒業おめでとう、わたしたち。」を、小田急線新宿駅南口コンコースや館内外装飾、新宿ミロード公式Webサイト・SNSにて展開しています。
3月10日から最終日の16日まで展開する「おしまいのFINAL 7DAYS」では、各店舗閉店セールや、ノベルティプレゼントなどを実施しています。
プレゼント企画は、新宿ミロード店舗における税込1,000円以上(合算不可)の買い物で「ミロートンアクリルチャーム」、金額問わず買い物をした人に「感謝のピンクのバラ」をプレゼントしています。いずれもレシートの提示で進呈、先着順で数量限定です。配布場所はチャームが2階インフォメーションカウンター、バラが2階PROPORTION+前です。
そのほか、「Good bye Movie」の限定リーフレットを各所で配布しています。
7階のイベントスペースでは、新宿ミロードに関する思い出やエピソードをハート型シールに書いて、メッセージボードを埋め尽くすイベントを実施しています。また、新宿ミロードのマスコットキャラクター・ミロートンと記念撮影できるフォトブースも設置されています。
なお、最終日となる3月16日の最終入館は19時45分、閉館時間は20時です。また、閉館の様子が、新宿ミロード公式Instagramでライブ中継される予定です。
