日本郵便とジオテクノロジーズは、法人・個人事業主向けサービス「ビジネスデジタルアドレス」に、建物などの入口の緯度経度を登録・編集できる機能を追加した。7月30日から提供しており、登録した情報はAPIを通じて取得できる。ビジネスデジタルアドレスでは、ジオテクノロジーズの地図APIサービス「MapFan API」を利用。企業は「ビジネスデジタルアドレス」ごとに1つの入口を登録でき、住所情報から表示された初期位置を地図上で調整する。緯度経度は小数点以下6桁まで保存・表示される。住所だけでは特定しにくい建物や敷地の入口を、配送事業者や訪問者と共有できる。同一住所内に複数の建物がある場合や、建物に複数の入口がある場合、住所検索で表示される位置と実際の入口が異なることがある。入口を事前に共有することで、現地での探索や電話確認、場所の説明にかかる負担を減らせる。 Salesforce AppExchangeで提供する「郵便番号・デジタルアドレス for Salesforce」にも同機能を追加。住所や企業情報とあわせて入口の緯度経度を確認し、一元管理できる。今後は、企業が複数の「ビジネスデジタルアドレス」を取得し、それぞれに用途別の緯度経度を登録できるよう機能を拡張する予定。
