地方経済の活性化に向けた「地域未来戦略」をめぐり、地方ごとに企業の大規模投資を呼び込む計画の素案がまとまり、高市総理大臣は、計画を後押しする政策パッケージを早急に具体化するよう指示しました。

政府は18日、総理大臣官邸で高市総理大臣や担当の黄川田大臣が出席して「地域未来戦略」の具体策を検討する会議を開き、全国10の地方ごとに企業の大規模投資を呼び込む産業集積計画の素案をまとめました。

このうち、先端半導体の量産を目指すラピダスが立地している北海道や、台湾の半導体大手TSMCが工場を稼働している九州、関連企業が多い北陸は、AI・半導体などで集積を図るとしています。

また、近畿では大阪・関西万博で関連技術が展示されたGX＝グリーントランスフォーメーションや宇宙などの分野を新たな産業の核に、四国では造船産業の再生を目指すなどとしています。

高市総理大臣は「計画のポテンシャルを最大化するためのインフラ整備や規制改革、人材育成などを実現する交付金の拡充や財政措置の創設など、政策パッケージを早急に具体化してもらいたい」と述べました。
