トヨタ ウーブンシティ、新たな発明ガレージ

トヨタ自動車とウーブン・バイ・トヨタは、モビリティやプロダクトやサービスを実証する街「Toyota Woven City」(静岡県裾野市)において、産業を超えた連携による価値の創出＝「カケザン」を加速させる取り組みを公開した。また4月から新たに「Woven City Inventor Garage」が稼働開始した Woven City AI Vision Engineは、カメラ映像などの視覚情報を起点に、人・モビリティの挙動、街や空間の状態といった環境情報を組み合わせて、実世界で起きている事象を言語化して理解、判断し、行動へと繋げることが可能な大規模基盤AIモデル。Vision Language Model(VLM)として、世界トップレベルの性能としており、Woven City内ではUCCジャパンの実証をサポートしていく。 AI Vision Engineは、行動特性分析のWoven City Behavior AI、ドライバーの状態に応じて適切な運転行動を導くWoven City Drive Sync Assistなどと連携し、人・モビリティ技術・インフラ一体で安全を支えるWoven City Integrated ANZEN Systemに活用。Integrated ANZEN Systemは、クルマや信号機のカメラ映像を分析し、人やモビリティの動きから行動を予測し、その情報を歩行者やドライバーに知らせることで、運転を支援する。 また、4月から「Woven City Inventor Garage」が稼働を開始。トヨタ自動車東日本 東富士工場のプレス建屋をリノベーションして誕生した施設で、参加企業(Inventors)が発明品のプロトタイプを製作するモノづくりスペースや、それらを検証できる実証スペースなどが備えられ、トヨタやTMEJによる試作支援も行なわれる。参加企業向けの宿泊施設なども併設される。 新たなWoven City Inventorsとして、AIロボット協会、第一興商、Joby Aviation、トヨタファイナンシャルサービスが参加。Inventorsは計24となる。 AIロボット協会はロボットの社会実装に向けた、実環境での課題抽出など、第一興商はもっと自由に歌えるカラオケの創造に向けた実証実験などを行なう。 Jobyは、空のモビリティエコシステム構築に向けた取り組みを進め、トヨタファイナンシャルサービスはモビリティ価値の計測・証明・流通を基にした、新しい販売金融手法の開発などを予定している。
