独立行政法人情報処理推進機構（IPA）は6月26日、10月15日に公表したWindows 10 のサポート終了に伴う注意喚起について、追加情報を発表した。
Microsoft社のWindows 10は米国時間2025年10月14日にサポートが終了となり、以降はセキュリティ更新プログラムの提供がなくなるため、IPAでは対象OSを利用している場合、サポートが継続している製品へ移行するよう呼びかけていた。なお、Microsoft社では、後継OSへの移行に時間を要する場合は、1年間の拡張セキュリティ更新プログラム（ESU）の利用を推奨している。
対象OSは下記の通り。
Windows 10 Enterprise and Education Windows 10 Home and Pro Windows 10 IoT Enterprise
Microsoft社ではその後、現地時間2026年6月25日に、個人（コンシューマー）向けESUを2027年10月12日まで提供することを発表したとのこと。
Microsoft社のWindows 10は米国時間2025年10月14日にサポートが終了となり、以降はセキュリティ更新プログラムの提供がなくなるため、IPAでは対象OSを利用している場合、サポートが継続している製品へ移行するよう呼びかけていた。なお、Microsoft社では、後継OSへの移行に時間を要する場合は、1年間の拡張セキュリティ更新プログラム（ESU）の利用を推奨している。
