鳥取 大山で夏山開き 本格的な夏山シーズンに
中国地方の最高峰、大山で夏山開きが行われ、本格的な夏山シーズンが始まりました。
鳥取県西部にある標高1700メートル余りの大山には、山頂から日本海を見下ろす雄大な景色を楽しもうと毎年、多くの登山者が訪れています。
8日は雲の切れ目からときおり日がさす中、午前10時から山頂で登山者の安全を祈願する夏山開きが行われるのを前に、家族連れや団体のツアー客などが次々と登山道へ入っていきました。
登山者たちは、周りの景色や植物の写真を撮ったり、段差のある階段で登山用のつえを使ったりしながら3キロ先の山頂を目指していました。
松江市から訪れた20代の男性は「大山を登るのは初めてです。いい天気で気持ちがよく頂上からの景色を楽しみにしています」と話していました。
また、広島県から訪れた70代の男性は「数年ぶりの大山登山なので山頂からの眺めや新緑を感じながら登るのが楽しみです」と話していました。
警察によりますと去年6月から10月にかけて大山で発生した山岳遭難は17件で、このうち8件は熱中症や脱水症状によって救助を要請したケースだったということです。
警察は、天気予報や熱中症警戒アラートなどを事前に確認して、余裕のある計画を立て、登山届を必ず提出するよう呼びかけています。
