立山黒部アルペンルート 全線開通 シーズン初日は吹雪に
冬の間、雪に閉ざされていた富山県と長野県を結ぶ北アルプスの山岳観光ルート「立山黒部アルペンルート」が15日全線で開通しました。15日は天候が悪く、吹雪の中のシーズン初日となりました。
「立山黒部アルペンルート」は、富山県立山町と長野県大町市をバスやケーブルカーなどで結ぶ山岳観光ルートです。
冬の間は雪のためこのうちの37キロ余りが閉鎖されていましたが、除雪作業が終わり、15日、およそ4か月ぶりに全線で開通しました。
標高2450メートルにある室堂ターミナルの午前9時時点の気温は、マイナス2.4度で、時折、ふぶく悪天候のためルートの両側に高い壁がそびえ立つ「雪の大谷」を散策する催しや全線開通などを祝う式典は中止となりました。
大阪から訪れた観光客は「雪の大谷を楽しみに訪れましたが、中止で残念です。天気のよいときに再び訪れたいです」と話していました。
「立山黒部貫光」の見角要社長は「初日は悪天候となり、申し訳ない気持ちでいっぱいですが、ことしは雪が多いので雪の大谷は長い間楽しんでもらえると思います」と話していました。
