食い倒れの街、大阪。大阪・関西万博もいよいよ始まり、ますますの盛り上がりを見せている。一度は訪れたい高級店と、ローカルに愛されるカジュアルな名店。大阪ならではの名物グルメをハイ＆ロー、ともに厳選した。次から次へとハシゴしたくなる、うまいもんが勢揃い！ 生野の「淡路屋直売所」は夢のような場所だ。

大阪市東部・生野区にある「淡路屋直売所」は、昭和35年頃に創業。カウンター席中央にあるショーケースでは作りたての惣菜がオーラを放ち、黒板には旬魚などの素材名が所狭しと並ぶ。魚はできるだけ天然物を仕入れ、ビフカツなら和牛イチボの塊肉を切るところから。謳いはしなくとも、食材に一切の妥協はない。
「この界隈の方は食通が多く、ほんまに鍛えられました」と3代目の浜田晃嘉。連日満席で、今や地元客のみならず、フーディーたちもこぞって暖簾をくぐる。まさに大阪を代表するディスティネーション酒場の一軒だ。
