イスラエル 米の迎撃システム搬入 ヒズボラは「停戦」呼びかけ
イスラエルが、イランによるミサイル攻撃への対抗措置をとるとしている中、アメリカ国防総省はイスラエルをイランのさらなる攻撃から守る迎撃システムの搬入が始まったと発表しました。ただ、イラン側はイスラエルの対抗措置があれば反撃する構えで、抑止力となるかは不透明です。
アメリカの複数のメディアは、イスラエルのネタニヤフ首相がバイデン大統領に、今月1日のイランによる大規模なミサイル攻撃への対抗措置をとるとして、イランの軍事施設を標的とする計画を伝えたと報じています。
こうした中、アメリカ国防総省はイスラエルへの配備を決めた迎撃ミサイルシステム「THAAD」の一部と運用部隊が14日、現地に到着したと発表しました。
THAADは弾道ミサイルを高い高度で撃ち落とすことができるとされ、国防総省は今後数日間をかけて搬入を進め「近い将来、完全に運用可能になる」としています。
アメリカ政府はこれによってイスラエルをイランのさらなる攻撃から守るとしていますが、イラン側はイスラエルの対抗措置があれば反撃する構えで、事態のエスカレートを防ぐ抑止力となるかは不透明です。
また、イランの支援を受けるレバノンのイスラム教シーア派組織ヒズボラは15日、指導者カセム師のビデオ声明を公開しました。
この中でカセム師はイスラエルに「停戦こそが解決策だ」と呼びかける一方で「戦争が続くならさらに多くの人が住まいを追われ、危険にさらされる。敵はレバノン全土を攻撃しているため、われわれにもイスラエル全土をねらう権利がある」と述べ、攻撃の範囲を拡大して抗戦すると強調しました。
