脱毛サロン「ミュゼプラチナム」運営会社の破産手続き開始決定
脱毛サロンの業界大手「ミュゼプラチナム」で元従業員らの給与が未払いになっている問題で、東京地方裁判所は18日、運営会社の破産手続きを開始する決定を出しました。今後は選任された破産管財人の弁護士が資産状況の調査などを行うことになります。
全国におよそ170か所の脱毛サロンを展開する業界大手の「ミュゼプラチナム」は、ことし3月下旬から経営体制の移行などを理由にすべての店舗で休業し、一部の従業員らはことし5月、数か月分の給与が支払われておらず、「運営会社には多額の債務が存在し、支払い不能の状態にある」などとして、東京地方裁判所に運営会社の破産手続き開始の申し立てを行いました。
その後、6月に記者会見した運営会社「MPH」は、負債総額はおよそ260億円、未払いの給与はおよそ9億円に上ると説明していました。
これについて裁判所は18日午後、運営会社の破産手続きを開始する決定を出しました。
今後は選任された破産管財人の弁護士が資産状況の調査などを行うことになります。
