車いすのまま乗車できる「Uberアシスト」 乗降もサポートで追加料金なし
Uber Japanは、車椅子のまま乗車可能なタクシー車両を指定して配車できるサービス「Uber Assist(ウーバー・アシスト)」の提供を東京23区、武蔵野市、三鷹市で開始した。
Uberアプリで乗車場所と目的地を指定した後、車種選択画面で「車椅子タクシー」を選ぶと利用可能で、予約は不要。
車椅子タクシーは、車椅子に乗ったまま乗降できるスロープを搭載したタクシー車両で、適切なサポート研修を受講したドライバーが迎えにくる(福祉輸送車両ではない)。乗り降りの介助など、到着後もサポートを提供する。
利用料金は通常のタクシー配車と同様にメーター運賃に基づき、特別な追加料金はない。Uberアプリの「Uberシニア」でアカウント連携すれば、遠方に住む家族による代理配車も可能。現在地もリアルタイムで把握できる。
