福井名物「おろしそば」販売・完食 ギネス世界記録を再び更新
福井名物「おろしそば」を広く知ってもらおうと、そばの販売数でギネス世界記録の更新に挑むイベントが福井市で開かれ、8時間で1万2000食余りを販売し、世界記録に認定されました。
このイベントは、福井県越前市の製麺会社が企画したもので、去年達成した世界記録「4013杯」を更新する8時間で1万杯以上の販売・完食を目指しました。
福井駅前の特設会場には朝早くから長い列ができ、午前9時半にそばの販売が始まると、参加者が地元産のそば粉を使ったできたてのおろしそばを受け取って味わっていました。
会社によりますと、去年は開始から3時間ほどで用意したそばが売り切れたうえ、提供に時間がかかったことから、ことしは去年の3倍以上のおよそ1万4000食を用意し、調理する作業台も3列から9列に増やしたということです。
この結果、8時間で1万2018杯が販売・完食され、記録更新が伝えられると会場では割れんばかりの拍手が上がりました。
イベントを企画した製麺会社の宗近鉄也さんは「おろしそばは福井の大切な食文化なのでこうしたイベントを通して残していきたい。全国や世界に広めるためにも、もっと福井の人におろしそばを好きになってほしい」と話していました。
