神奈川 鎌倉 鶴岡八幡宮「段葛」で桜並木が見頃
神奈川県鎌倉市の鶴岡八幡宮の参道「段葛」で、桜並木が見頃を迎えています。
鶴岡八幡宮の「段葛」は、鎌倉幕府を開いた源頼朝が妻の北条政子の安産を祈願して造らせたとされる参道です。
長さは500メートルほどで、両脇に170本余りのソメイヨシノが植えられていて、いま満開となり、見頃を迎えています。
この桜並木を見ようと連日、大勢の観光客が訪れていて、写真を撮るなどして楽しんでいます。
横須賀市から子どもたちと訪れた30代の女性は「桜がとてもきれいで、晴れの日はぽかぽかして気持ちよいです」と話していました。
「段葛」の桜並木では午後6時から午後9時までライトアップが行われていて、鶴岡八幡宮によりますと、今週末までは見頃が続くということです。
