静岡 伊東市 田久保前市長を書類送検 地方自治法違反の疑い
学歴詐称の疑いが指摘され、刑事告発されている静岡県伊東市の田久保真紀前市長について、警察が27日までに、地方自治法違反の疑いで書類送検したことが捜査関係者への取材でわかりました。
田久保前市長をめぐっては、初当選した市長選挙の際に報道各社向けの経歴票に「東洋大学卒」などと記載して虚偽の情報を公にしたり、市議会の百条委員会に対し、卒業証書とされる書類の提出を拒否したりしたなどとして、公職選挙法違反や地方自治法違反などの疑いで刑事告発されています。
警察は、前市長本人から任意で複数回にわたって事情を聴いたほか、今月14日に伊東市内にある前市長の自宅を捜索するなどして捜査を進めていました。
捜査関係者によりますと、警察は27日までに地方自治法違反の疑いで田久保前市長を書類送検したということです。

また、市議会の議長らに見せた卒業証書とされる書類の提出について、前市長側は「法律で認められた『押収拒絶権』が及び、書類の押収を拒否できると考えている」などと回答して提出を拒否していました。
