KDDIは、auユーザー向けに、電話・SMSに特化した2つめの電話番号サービス「セカンドナンバー」の提供を開始した。利用料は月額550円。 セカンドナンバーは、1台のスマートフォンで「主番号」と「セカンドナンバー」の2つの電話番号を使い分けられるサービス。私用と仕事用での電話番号の使い分けをはじめ、オンラインサービスへの登録、SNSやイベントへの応募といった趣味での利用などに活用できる。データ通信は利用できない。 音声通話サービスとして「迷惑電話撃退サービス」「お留守番サービスEX」「割込通話」「三者通話サービス」に標準対応。セカンドナンバーを店頭で新規契約する場合は、電話番号の下4桁を選択できるオプション「YOU選番号」が実質無料で利用できる特典も提供される。 対象ユーザーは、auのスマートフォン向け料金プランに加入しているユーザー。対象端末は2回線同時待ち受けが可能な、eSIM対応のスマートフォン(デュアルSIMデュアルスタンバイ対応のスマートフォン)。通話料は30秒につき22円、SMS送信料は1通につき3.3円。別途電話ユニバーサルサービス料、電話リレーサービス料などがかかる。
